Hey seen some exhaust valve plugs on ebay for my 2018 sportback.

Anyone ever installed these before? I'm hearing you can't do it on a cold start an the valves have to be open before you plug them? Apologies if this has already been asked.

Thanks.

Ive got them fitted. Indeed as per instructions you’ve just listed.

Start car and put into dynamic, once the valves open turn the engine off and they won’t close until you switch it back on. Fit the plugs and then restart, should have the same volume from either side then if done correctly.

Note if ignition is turned on when they’re unplugged without the delete plugs, it will log a fault which can be reset once the valves are plugged back in or the delete plugs are in.

Don't the plugs cause the car to limit power at higher revs or something vs say valve control instead?

TX.

If it logs an error code yes it reigns things in a little after 4K.
Simple job and if it were me I’d be checking ECU after install to make sure.
Or buy the valve controller.

Or have it mapped with DS1 and do whatever you want with them
