Hey Everyone,

I have recently bought a 2015 S3 with a Remus Cat back exhaust for some reason the valves are stuck in the open position regardless of what Drive mode I’m in.

I’ve obviously searched on here and then checked with a cheap OBDeleven to see if they have been coded out but it’s all saying enabled but are coming up with an intermittent fault.

So today I took off the valve controllers to make sure the valves were moving freely and it is smooth as brand new.

I’m a bit stumped as to what the issue might be other that faulty control units, which are expensive for what they are in my opinion.

I’d love to have them open at all time but I work unsociable hours so it’s abit unfair to have the valves open in the middle of the night.

Does anyone have any idea or have had the same problem ?

Ben

Are you getting power at the plugs when activated? remember they are open at idle then close and reopen again at a certain rev range depending on driving mode.

add your own solenoid and a 12V switch if you want a temp fix
