Facelift Exterior door handle lighting

Hi all.
Was wondering does anyone have exterior door handle lighting on the a3/s3?
I added the led lighting package when I ordered the car and while I understand it is listed as an interior package it did say courtesy lighting on exterior door handles yet the car doesn't have them.
It does have the lighting on the interior handles. Have they missed adding this or am I reading it wrong?

Never ever seen external led door handle lighting on any A3 it's a BMW thing

I've seen it on an A6 and an A7.

Only ever seen something like that on UFO’s on the telly.
Tbh mate, door handle lights sound tacky as ****.

You could say the same about puddle lights..
Taste is subjective I couldn't care less if they were on the car or not.
I'm just trying to figure out if they left them out. Or made an error in the option list.
As collecting a set of rubber mats tomorrow and looking for a discount if I can get it.

Fair enough you've seen them on a A6/A7 but it's not available on the A3

I had it on my a6. It was part of the lighting pack.
There was a thread here last year and someone looked up the parts. It was the same handle on a6 and a3 so the lighting handle can be fitted.
Can’t seem to find that post anymore.

That's great.. They made a mistake on the lighting pack spec.
