Facelift lights (with and without DRLs) on 8P1?

Hi

I've been looking around and I haven't been able to find a thread on replacing my 53plate lights with a newer models headlights(DRL in the unit) Is this possible, do I need any bits and bobs? Dying to know as it'd make a wicked mod the the 8p1

If you mean the ones from the 8P3 S3/BE etc you'll need a bumper, bonnet & wings. Also facelift wing mirrors with indicators in them.
In other words, it's not worth it.

You can probably buy some aftermarket units on eBay that will fit. I've certainly seen them on A4s, but they look mightily pants.

if you want the DRLs and are not bothered about them being the LED strips then you could always get the OEM bi-xenon headlights from the 8P2 (2006-2008) cars. all you would need is the headlights with bulbs and then a wiring converter from kufatec.

it will give you proper xenon headlights, the DRL and also you get the xenon highbeam so its really worth it.
