Hey guys

First off......my apologies for not posting for ages! I've been playing with my new toy, my ZZR1400 bike . Plus with lockdown it has also meant the car has just been sat on the drive redundant lately so not much to report with it!

Anyway drove it off the drive a couple of weeks back and BANG, rear spring snapped! Anyway changed that (way easier than I thought it would be), and then today thought let's use the car as its looking sorry for itself......EML starts flashing at me and car drives like its firing on 3 .

Vcds said p0301 - misfire on cyl 1.
Swapped coilpack from 1 to 2 and then vcds said p0302 - misfire on cyl 2.
Looks like coil pack due a change.

Anyone any suggestions of which coilpack to get? Audi said £49 for the ones they have in stock.....does this sound about right??

TIA - Gaz

£49 from audi Inc vat for a coil pack? Not a bad price from them tbh.

What year is it and which engine have you got

Sorry should of said .....its a 2007 2.0tfsi quattro s-line

Price included vat (thats for 1 coil pack obviously)

That'd be the bwa or axx engine of the top of my head.
Friends got a tt with a bwa, and recently had to get a couple coil packs. Found a new genuine coil pack for £17 on ebay, and a bosch from eurocarparts for £30.
So I'm surprised audi is only 49 as I'm sure it was more.

When I get home I'll put up the part number and double check the price on etka

genuine part number 07K905715G
price £49.49
(the part number on your car will most likely be slightly different, eg. F, as G is from 2016, G is just the latest revision).

carlise audi are selling them on ebay for £38 posted

The red coloured R8 coil packs often work out cheaper than the OE coil pack for your car. However, many red coil packs are not genuine VAG. I would only buy these from AKS to guarantee genuine parts apart from Audi that work out more expensive.

Off to Shrewsbury audi to collect now.......quoted £49, but after samisnakes help, they have agreed to let me have it for £28 which is what they listed it on ebay for

Coil pack fitted and misfire now gone.......though it took 5 hours to get into engine bay as catch had stuck. All sorted now though
