Fault code 1376!!

Hi all, haven't posted for ages, but have an issue with a v6 tdi fault code 1376, am I right in assuming it will need a new pump or repair at least?

Is it P1376
p1376 code fuel timing solenoid.
It could be the pump has jumped a tooth as well so i would get that checked.(pump timing that is)

Thing is that's Cylinder 8 code...and you only have 6
