Finally found an alternative PAS hose for a manual A3 1.8t

After hours of angry searching and refusing to spend £210 on a new PAS hose I found a aftermarket replacement for the manual A3 1.8t AUM Audi P/N 1J0422893GM. The replacement part is Edelmann 92332. The pipe comes from america and costs £100 inc delivery and customs charges. I've just ordered mine will let you all know how it fits!!

Or you could take the pipe to any hydraulics place and they would make up a replacement for much less

Unfortunately I have limited time to do these jobs so its quicker and easier to just replace new for old. I don't mind paying a bit extra if its less hassle. Just refused to pay Audi prices!

Right guys, quick update on the pipe. It showed up within a week of ordering it. I finally got round to fitting it today (Every time I went to fit it my brother in laws car broke so had to fix that first!!)

I am Impressed with the pipe it is a exact match for the one that came off and they even supplied the washers for the unions.

All in all nice and easy to change.
