This is my second Audi ownership (the first being a used and abused workhorse which never even saw water with shampoo in it).
I've got lots of ideas for her but have not yet made the decision as to which direction I want to go in as she is also a daily driver so needs to stay reasonably economical. I also don't want to end up with a barbie car (high maintenance and has regular paddys).
This weekend has been spent getting her up to a far better standard and showing her some TLC.
I started off in the boot area (50/50 below, showing removal of buildup)
Cleaned behind the rear light clusters (as I had them off checking the bulbs anyway)
I can't believe I didn't stripe the pile correctly when vacuuming!!! Well, that will have to be corrected soon.
Nice clean paintwork in the often neglected areas
I then moved on to all the door shuts and nooks and crannies
I moved my attention to cleaning and feeding the leather for the seats (some parts may need a colour treatment where the leather had dried out a little)
The door cards were then subjected to my attention and cleaned to remove any ingrained dirt. I also used this as an opportunity to check for 'day to day' damage such as scratches from watches and rings.
To finish off my efforts for the interior I brought the dash/console and carpets up to a better standard too
First priority will be a cambelt change as it is due and unfortunately a replacement to the exhaust as it has a blow from the 'Y' piece.
