First Audi

Just thinking back to the days when I was 17 (23 years ago), and remembered my 1st Audi, it was a 1984 Audi 80 Sport. Had some realy good times in that car.
Cost me £2200, £550 to insure (third party fire & theft) in Tornado Red, 81000 miles, it was the fastest vehicle ever made, with its 1.8i engine (to a 17 year old)
And it got me wondering, what was everybody else's first Audi/car?

Mini 25 1984 B reg.... I paid £800 for it off my Dad and it only had 38k miles on it. Went everywhere in it. If I could find it now I would buy it back!!

The ironic thing is this is my first Audi and again bought it from my Dad. Only the second time I have bought a car from him. He made me pay £15k for this one though!!

2000 VW Polo 1.0 for 2 1/2 years then got the S3 in March.

A 1984 1.0L Vauxhall Nova bought for £650 in 1994.
Third party insurance was £800!

1989 1.6GL Ford Sierra in red and about £1000 to insure TPF&T.

1996 Hyundai Coupe which lasted about 9 months before I got a 1995 A4 1.8 Auto, on to my 4th Audi now.

My Dad gave me his old taxi for my first car, 95' Vauxhall Cavalier 1.7TDi, only had 180k miles, it was built like a tank!!
