Genius, I got that spreadsheet and phoned my wonderful dealers, get this:

"Oh sir, thats only a marketing brochure and nothing to do with actual service times for vehicles" !?!?!?!?!

They said again, All A3's are 1.9 hours basic, more for other services.

Are they taking the pi##?

miket - Yes they are taking the pi$$.

My dealer actually uses a version of the same spreadsheet for quoting the service costs. They tell me their current labour rate is £88.00 per hour. Take 1.10 hours at £88.00 per hour and you get £96.80 - exaclty the labour amount on the bill.

Perhaps your 'wonderful dealers' are just slow !

I'm sure a lot of fleet managers would not be too pleased if the details Audi give them about service costs was 'just a marketing brochure'

Your dealer obviously prefers to work with the service times for the previous 8L model rather than the new 8P model as it makes them more money.
