Bit of information for anyone wanting to fit mudflaps to there Avant or Saloon as I imagine the rear bumper shape is the same on the saloon.

eBay, Audi etc say they don't fit the S-Line but they fit perfectly, nice and easy to fit if you set aside an hour and half to do all 4 taking your time you'll have plenty of time.

I purchased Chinese ones off eBay but they were utter rubbish I wouldn't even entertain fitting them, the Audi ones are really good quality and fit and are definitely worth the money.

£85 delivered for both off the links below, my local Audi dealers and the parts request on here was £100

https://www.audipartsdirect.co.uk/product/audi-a4-rear-mud-flaps-8k0075101

Part numbers are Fronts 8k0075111 and Rears 8k0075101

I fitted them to reduce spray to keep the car cleaner, to prevent much getting flicked up on my caravan when towing and also to prevent any more damage and corrosion to the inner wing at the front as mine had a small amount on at 95 000 miles 10 years old.

My cars a 2010 60 Plate B8 Avant.

Some pictures below, not the best quality but they'll give you an idea.

Good to know; I fitted S3 rears to my S4 a few years ago after following a tip that they fitted. They sort of fit, but with a bit of a gap. I might give the standard A4 ones a go. :)

Good post ;)

Do the front ones just use the original holes? Also is that a clip at the top which goes behind the wing?

And the rears...do they just require the one hole drilling in the bumper? Along with a few of the original lining holes?

Thanks

I have the B8.5 stone guards fitted, I wonder if mudguards would still fit to help protect the sill from stones?

Yeah they use 2 original holes and then one through the arch liner and then there's a clip that you spotted, they are well designed really.

I only test fitted the back but yeah you need one small hole at the bottom of the bumper and the rest use existing holes.

I actually ordered these because I read your post on them, I ordered them off eBay and the seller let me down and they never arrived, I never got round to ordering them again but I'm thinking about it now, I've still got the 3M double sided tape in the garage as well that I ordered for them.

The mudguards should fit over them.fine as they are flexible to a degree but you could always just trim a small section off the bottom if needs be.

The mudguards protect the side of the car well and the cill and also a bit of the wing but those that you have fitted are nice to protect the wing a little higher up.

I fitted the mud flaps and the stone guards. The stone guards just need to be lifted up the arch a little. No problems at all.

That's good information to know, I'm going to ring a few Audi dealers tomorrow for prices and order them. I plan on keeping my B8 and keeping it spot on with high spec tyres, suspension as my daily driver and family wagon as well as the caravan puller so I don't mind spending a few quid on it to keep it mint as an equivalent car would be a least £350 a month on a PCP as this cost me ****** all apart from the maintenance and repairs that come with a 100k 10 year old car.
