Front door Speakers in my S3

Hello there,

Im looking to replace my speakers in the front of my S3 with some new ones.

Can any one help me?

What size to I need to buy?? What is an ok set of components??

What have you guys got?

The standard size is 4" mids with a 1" tweeter although you can squeeze 5.25" mids in there but be careful on the depth, you only have about 55mm to play with. You also need adapter rings as Audi use a wierd offset mounting or all their speakers (the mounting posts stand proud of the speaker hole).
Infinity kappa 50.5 are used a lot on here, a bit of a squeeze but well worth it. Basically anything is a big improvement but you need to ensure the unit is completely sealed round the speaker hole. Some of the OTS adapter ring don't fit properly and leave a gaping hole between the speaker and the door card.
The tweeters just slot in as long as they aren't bigger than 1".
