Front door speakers

Coming home this evening Ive noticed that my N/S/F door speaker seems to have blown and making a strange sound, strange as I never have music that loud.
Never mind!!
I’ve not looked as yet (as it’s dark)
But how easy are they to change? Do I need to remove the door card??

It’s still working, but the Bass is distorted

my guess is that the paper cone has started to come away from the rubber surround.

take off the doorcard to assess it, wont take long.
3 options:
1. attempt repair.
2. replace with used speaker off ebay. part number for non-bose 8p0035411c. for bose. 8e0035411b

Check the hinge wiring 1st for breaks.

Then swap speakers across, if its not wiring in the hinge, proves beyond doubt if its a speaker fault then.
