Front grill sizes and compatibility

Hi, i have a broken chrome trim surround on my A3 8P7 Cabriolet , had a quick look on Ebay and nothing that actualy confirms that it will fit mine,however i see a lot of people do swap and change grill set ups so i was looking at possibly a ised donor grill and seeing if i can salvage the trim or maybe use a full grill..My question is does anyoneknow how i can check compatibility when i am looking ...Any help gratefuly apreciated.Thanks

A3 09-12 grill would fit your car, so just use that as a search requirement.

Maybe upgrade to mesh style.
