Front parking sensor

Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me out? Which way up do these fit into the front grill, is it the little ridge goes at the top or bottom??

Does the slots cut out on the grill not determine which way round they go?

I (retro) fitted mine with the "raised" "brow" towards the centre, I'm guessing that when I fitted them, I tried both ways round to see which way directed the sensor more to the front of the car.

Gonna try and fit them with the rased part to the top towards the centre like you say.
