Hi
I've got a 2016 A4 2.0 Tdi 190 bhp Avant S Line. love the car but its got an annoying fault. the long term fuel consumption recorder spontaneously resets itself every few weeks. At first I thought i was accidentally brushing the button but I know that's not the case. Has anyone else seen the same ? More importantly, has anyone found a fix ? It's currently with a dealer and they seem flummoxed.
Thanks in advance.

Mines got the same issue, started at 10000 miles, (39500 now) Audi looked at it and apparently it’s a known issues, tend to ignore it now, but pretty sure it hasn’t done it for a while, and thinks it’s had a software update since.

Mine seems to reset every 5k miles or so which for me is every 2-3months

Ours originally did this, along with outside temperature gauge not working properly (showing zero C when it was about 20c) and the clock not keeping time - all were cured with a software update the car had back in 2016 - its had an update since then (at last service in 2018) and all fine still.

No. It was due for it's first 10,000 mile oil change service so I asked them to look at it whilst they had it in the workshop.
They did update the software so I'll wait to see if that's one of the bugs fixed in the software update.

A faults a fault. I would take mine back for any minor fault no matter what. Mass produced or not you pay a lot of money for these cars so why put up with annoying issues.
