Fuel lines

When you disconnect the fuel lines from the filter are they self sealing?

my filter has a pin hole leak and the only way I can think to stop it until tomorrow when the new one arrives is to remove it.

After a bit of research I think they are, but probably best not leaving them disconnected overnight.

You are correct.
When I replaced my fuel filter, I just disconnected the lines (need to press the tabs on the connectors to “unlock” them before pulling them off), replaced the filter and reconnected the fuel lines.
