Dear Bobby i reset the value and after this i am getting one error saying fuel too low. this is coming all the time, when i put the key and switch on. earlier it used to come in some time. we need to switch off engine and start so the MIL will go away. thanks

Whereabouts in the UK are you - if you want me to take a look I can (I'm 10mins from Heathrow)

I would attempt to do an adaption on the PCV and metering unit.

Dear All - . I am from India, i had flat battery and recharged and ****** up to the car and started for running at idle. it was running fine and all ok. i went away from the car and in some time i heard a rough idle from the car and hearing the radiator kicking off to rotate with huge sound and the car stopped.

i checked the battery, its fine, the fuel pressure and flow is fine at both inlet side and at the HPP side. i have checked the compression and it clocks 21 bar. all the fuses are good in engine comportment, however the car is not starting at all. its crank well but not starting.

the radiator is keeps running when ever i switch on the ignition but not started the car. i checked the coolant temperature seasons G83 and G62 and it seems to be ok. the temperature needle in the dashboard is showing extreme right in red and if i remove the G83 and G62 wiring connections the needle is coming back to middle and radiator is stops running.

glow plugs are good, . oil level is good. below is my full auto scan from vcds. the car is still not starting. the air filter is clean, the fuel pump is clocking .5 pressure and flow is also good. i have not checked the injector yet. is there anything expert advice to check please help. the car is not starting yet and cranking well.

can you please advise with your expert help.
is there any other check i need to do to narrow down the issue? please help. no engine module error in VCDS.

Trying to debug this over the internet will be a nightmare - which part of India are you from?
Maybe log the rail pressure during cranking
"the radiator is keeps running when ever i switch on the ignition but not started the car." this could be bad checksum on the ECU file - did you try to tune it?

Dear Bobby - thanks for your response. I am from India Chennai West side. i did not tried anything with ECU at any time. the car was parked for a while and battery become flat. i charged it and hooked to the car and started for test run. it run almost for 20 minutes with no issue and strange, the car got off and not starting any more. from that time, this radiator and temp needle are misbehaving. i did removed the coolant sensor and if i remove the cable out both G83 and 62 the radiator stops and temp needle is coming back to center. before hooking up the battery, i did blew compressed air under the wiper motor bay where this ECM sits. cables are intact too.

hi Boby - greetings, my car is not starting and when i checked the HPP fuel delivery, there is none. So i removed the metering device to check what signals are coming and cranked the car, the car started without metering device in the HPP. if i put this back, the car is not starting. do you have any advise what could be the issue. please advise.

hi Sir - today i tried with VCDS and if i remove the metering device the VCDS is catching up the same and reports the N290 is open circuit. if i connect it back the error is goes away. the car starts only if i remove the meter devices connectivity and hangs off if i connect it back. if i remove it the VCDS is saying fuel high pressure and shutting the engine after some time.

so will that be a metering device issue. and i wanted to confirm before i replace it. is there a way that i can check the metering device for fault? please help.
