Hi guys so a couple of days ago the glow plug light came on and car was in limp mode. Codes read fuel rail pressure sensor
'A' circuit range/performance.
Reset the fault and it came back on today.

Is this likely just a faulty fuel pressure sensor? And is there only 1 sensor on my bitdi A6?

Thanks for help in advance

Paul

Your car has a 2000 bar pressure sensor. This fault could be a number of things, could even be a faulty fuel pump. But obviously start with the sensor as its the cheaper option, check to see if you have any damaged wires also check for leaks.

Thanks mate. Do you mean it could be a fuel leak?
Cheers

Yes look for any split hoses. It will most likely be your sensor that is the fault though.

I had a tuning box fitted which was connected to the fuel rail pressure sensor so I have removed that and reset the code incase it was the box throwing up the fault. If it comes back now then it's deafo a genuine fault
