gear stick trim surround panel

Afternoon people

Does anyone know if the manual gearstick trim surround panel is compatible with a DSG equipped car ?
or if not can they be modified to fit ?

No, they're different. I altered a manual one to fit my dsg. You can push the chrome out of the surround and trim the dsg to fit the manual surround and secure it safely with a bit of superglue. Mine's been done over 2 years without problems.

You need a sharp pair of small side-cutters and a Stanley knife to do the job. Just trim the chrome to match the manual one, (it's only plastic).
