Gear Surrounds

Hi guys quick question before I buy parts is the manual gear surround the same as the DSG surround looked at pictures they seem the same just want to be 100% sure

Cannot say, i would have thought the DSG one was a slight bit bigger but you would have to test

Are you buying the surround with the chrome inner attached?

They aren't a straight swap! I made a my dsg insert fit a manual one by trimming the chrome insert (it's only plastic). The shape of the hole is exact.
