Gen IV Haldex Filter

For those that have a genIV, have you replaced the filter that says its a magic lifetime filter and does not need to be replaced?

I see no reason to not change it at the specified time intervals and from what I have seen its filled with clutch junk

Always change them before they are due. Mine will be an annual item, I see no reason not to as they are cheap enough in the scheme of things.

As it gets older, it gets clogged and can burn out the Haldex pump resulting in 2wd

Yep I know this first hand from when I bought my previous TTS.....it was running 2wd only, untill I used Haldexrepairs to sort it (great guy by the way!).

Another recommendation for Haldex Repairs from me.
My Haldex controller recently packed in, and he repaired it and returned it to me in under a week despite having a baby arrive over that period.
Really helpful bloke and puts his customers first.
