What a frustrating time it is to try and get an insurance quote after making a claim earlier on in the year!?
I appreciate that to stay competitive, you need the best/clean customers, and maybe a modified A6 BiTDi doesn't fit into the criteria of the type of car you want to insure? But the only company that that would insure me basically was @skyinsurance , so hats off to them!! The odd thing was, they actually posted me a competitive renewal quote, and added the small percentage on top for the claim I had made on another policy, their price was still the best!
I still find shopping for car insurance in this day and age very testing at times, despite all the internet this and that, you have to really speak to someone for quotes if your car isn't standard.
At least I'm insured for another year!
