Glow plugs

Try testing them one by one.

Disconnect the power leads to the glow plugs and use an Ohm meter on them.

They should all read just less than one Ohm.

Also make sure the power connection is clean, that can sometimes cause bad starting as the power is not reaching the glowplug correctly.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info and feedback chaps, no problems at all with cold starting, just that I've never owned a diesel before, and the odo's showing almost 100K miles, so taking all precautions. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif
