Glowplug light starts flashing on Audi A3 2.0tdi

Hi guys I'm new here so please be patient lol
While driving on the Motorway yesterday my A3 suddenly went into Limp mode and the glowplug light was flashing. It lost all boost so I pulled over and turned it off then back on and it seemed to reset. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hi mate, I would say first thing is got it scanned to see what trouble codes have been logged or stored. If you are good with tech try and get vcds or obdeleven dongle. This items alone are a god send with the vag group of cars.

Thanks mate I have a cheap code reader but there aren't any codes stored. Guess I'll have to get it back to the garage vcds as they pick up codes that may not be showing
