Golf Mk4 1.9 GT TDI PD130 remap???

I've got a mk4 golf 1.9 pd130
It's just reaching 175,000 miles on the clock, however I've had a new cambelt, new water pump, new clutch and new gearbox fitted less than 15,000 miles ago.
Is it worth it to do a stage 1 remap (I think gets to 170 bhp) worth it? Or will it put too much strain on the engine because of the mileage. Just some background information the car is solid, drives perfectly and pulls like a train despite the mileage

I would suggest chatting with a well respected and knowledgeable tuning company (APR, Superchips,etc, etc) for some good advise.

It's not exactly easy for someone to just suggest Yes/No based on the little information provided.

I'm sure the tuning company's get asked this sort of questions time and time again.
