Good quality oil filters k&n?

Anyone ever used k&n oil filters on there 1.8t? Worth getting?

Stick with a Mann filter or OEM K&N oil filters don’t offer any benefit as far as I’m aware

Are you talking about the engine oil filter (in which case I've never heard of the K&N version) or the panel air filter onto which you put a small amount of special oil? If the latter, in my view they are a complete waste of money and as said above some people believe the oil can contaminate the sensitive probes in the MAF sensor. If oiled-cotton air filters were any good, manufacturers like Ferrari would use them - and they don't - they use paper ones.

K&N air filters are only for adding some intake noise. No other use for them.

What about the blue jetex filters? How do they rate?
Those filters that S3 Hilife are the one the op was talking bout . I have never heard of anyone running one though.
