Got HEADUNIT removal keys... But can't remove Headunit???

Bought a set of 4 keys off ebay. Put them in but can't remove headunit still.

Is there a trick?
Am I not pushing them in far enough (or to far)?
Can anyone recommend better keys for me to buy to make sure they are good quality?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Symphony II can be a bit tricky to remove, but good gentle tug does it. The keys should lock in place when inserted correctly.

Are the eBay keys poor quality?

It's a lot easier if you remove the glovebox (2 minute job). Then insert the keys with the angled sides facing inwards, and push the HU from behind.
Do NOT pull the HU out by pulling on the keys as if they are not engaged properly you can knacker the spring clips and the thing will be stuck in there.
Just feel when each key has released the spring clip as each corner will become free, then you can push it all the way out.

Might be to late on the Knackering of the spring clips then.... We will find out when I get the Glovebox out (I hope).

Ebay Keys (or the ones I bought) don't seem to be great quality :-(
