Got My S3 Wing Mirrors - Transformation ALMOST DONE! ISSUE!?

You know, some of you matbe , its an 2007 year car, but now he seems like a 2012 year, thanksfully

I got my 2012 year wing mirrors, they were regular ones but when I changed their caps into S3 one, some GAPS popped up, please check the pictures below.

So anyone experienced that kind of stuff? Any suggestions? Could my mirrors placed wrong? ( I was not monitoring the progress )

I realy do not like this GAP at all! so any help would be appriciated as always :9

Well the glass looks like its just been set all the way inward via the electric backplate or you havnt fully pushed the glass onto the backplate properly.
