GTI Inters 2015

Day 1, The sun's out! What amazing weather, despite the heavy rain and thunder the night before! it's been a quiet day today, much quieter than I have seen in the past. But it all usually kicks off on Sunday, where attendance is usually double.

It was a good day, nice to meet a few people, didn't spend as much time on the strip as last year as it was £5 a run, so only did 6 runs.
Did however manage to do a personal best in the car after I sorted the water methanol 13.29 105mph .
Which happened to be the fastest diesel time of the day so they gave me a nice trophy

Day 2, Much better today, attendance was easily double that of yesterday! The show itself wasn't as good a previous years admittedly, but it's not just about the show. It the getting together/gathering of fellow members and friends for the banter. Sure I can meet local friends on a regular basis. But for me, I had a great time today meeting my mates I've made over the years over the forums all in one location!

It was good to catch up with a few friends in real life, and if I didn't manage to say 'hi' to you on our clubstand, many apologies. I had to shoot off early both days due to work commitments, but I managed to kill the time quickly for both days just chatting away, a poking about at other clubstands!

One amusing thing I forgot to mention. lol I was helping Adam take the ASN tent down at around 130ish, as it's a 2 man+ job to get it done quickly, and I was planning to leave around 2 anyways. As most of it was down, and Adam was packing it all into his ASN A2, the rain started to lash down, so I made a sharp exit(sorry Adam), and made my way home. In my haste, I forgot to swop my number plates back on, so I drove home with the ASN show plates! lol
