Handbrake adjustment

just getting ready to fit new brakes

anyone know where the handbrake adjuster, centre console or underneath ??

Why would you need to adjust the HB? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif


Just make sure you've got the right caliper tool to wind the pistons back into the rear calipers.

I've managed to wind the piston back with a medium sized g clamp ok. The clamp I have has the clamp end that can rotate. From what I remember, it rotates clockwise to push it in again.

Don't forget the brake fluid resevoir. I wrap a couple of kitchen towels to catch any spillages.

the car sometimes creeps on the handbrake, it just needs a notch or two and just wanted the knowledge in case it does it with the new brakes
