Handling Mods - S3 8P 2009

Hi guys,

Looking into handling mods for my S3, have a rough idea in my head what I'm looking for but wondering about manufacturers etc. Any help appriciated - please fill the '?' with your suggestions.

Whiteline Anti Lift Kit
Bilstein B14 Coilovers
Uprated top mounts ?
Front ARB ?
Rear ARB ?
Polybush front/rear arms?

I think you'll be happy with it.

I moved from kW clubsport suspension to those and it definitely improved the road handling.

ARBs probably make the biggest initial difference

Bilstein or KW and if your budget stretches some adjustability built in i.e KW V2/V3 or Bilstein B16's
H&R anti roll bars front and rear
WALK or similar

I had KW clubsports and H&R anti roll bars on mine with the Whiteline Anti Lift Kit on mine and it was a joy to drive.
I still have the WALK if your interested

Best suspension mod i did was h&r anti-roll bars. If i was going again that would be first with good alignement.
Then coilovers or uprated struts with matching springs.

agree with all above

unless things have changed bilstein makes the dampers for H&R and H&R makes the springs for bilstein. I prefer Bilstein but H&R street performance is more than adequate
add all 3 engine mounts for more HP to the ground
rear 034 subframe mounts
front tyrol or equivalent subframe mounts
drop links and corner balancing
AND
really great tires!!!

AwesomeGTI sell 034M parts, as well as loads of other bits too.

My 2007 S3 had:

• H&R Springs 20mm
• H&R front and rear ARBS
• Super Pro ALK
• Revo Engine and gear box mounts

Handling was so much better especially after the ALK

H and R anti rolls bars
Engine mounts
Polybushed
H and r coilovers
Powerflex alk
And ado8r and it nothing far from perfect
