Have you done anything to your kick/sill plates

My sill plates look a little tired and the aluminium part is bubbling. Has anyone done any mods to them other than replacing them?

Id like to see if anyone has done this also .

Was going to carbon wrap them but think they might look a little crap. I've also seen some none-OEM S-Line blades but non-OEM tends to be cheap and nasty.
