Heated mirror

Hello guys.i want to ask about heated mirror in A7.how is work this.it is depence of the temperature outside?because when i turn on the heat mirror position is no heating.

I’ve always find that when you select “heating” on the mirror switch, they heats regardless of the outside temperature.

This is why you should keep the mirror switch turned to the passenger mirror position - as that also select auto dip on reverse (if you have that option)

So how do you think is problem with fuse?

It’s possible.

Do you have access to VCDS? A scan should show up any related fault codes.

Are both sides not heating?

Yes both sites no heating.yes i have acces to vcds under the steering wheel.do.you know where can i find this fuse?as well i will go to check my car by the computer.

yeah, should come on regardless of outside temp. I turn them on to get rid of rain droplets and moisture

I was check yesterday because was rain and my mirror was steamed up and heating it was work.so is looking like is depends of the weather.
