Heated Wing Mirrors - Don't think they are working

Hi,

Does anyone know of some simple checks I can do to check why my heated wing mirrors are not working?
I am 99% certain that last year they worked as I recall seeing the steam coming off as the ice melted.

With the recent cold weather, I noticed the mirrors were not heating and I was having to scrape the ice off myself.

make sure you have the adjustment dial set to the middle, they dont work if it is set to left or right (speaking from experience lol)

You can actually feel them heat using your fingers.

As Taft said, mirror adjustment button set to middle (Heat) position.

Get a multi meter and Pop of mirror glass and check for 12v at the connections , also disconnect mirror and put test meter onto ohms and check for a circuit
It should beep if ok

ahh that would be why!
I always leave the mirror on the left side selector so it dips when put into reverse.

Thank you, if it fails to heat when in the middle, i'll look into testing the 12v supply.
