Anyone no what to check on my dual heater system .. the passanger side is 49 degrees and driver side only 25 degrees both on full heat. Felt the pipes going into the car from the bulk head and they are red hot so heats there.

Hey there. Yes, I have this problem. My A3 8P blows hot air out of the passenger side and blows cold on the driver's side. It's going into the dealer soon... but it appears to be a known issue.
I bought a 2014 S-line with this issue and it was a warranty job, defrost flap motor and heater matrix. Full dashboard out job for the flap motor.
If I turned off climate control and directed the air using the buttons you could feel a definite difference on the drivers side not blowing warm.
£1600 later all fixed
