Hello - looking for some help.

I have a 2014 A3, s-line 2.0 tdi. The car has an uncomfortable vibration at high speeds, usually starting above 70mph and upwards. The vibration gets worse the higher the speed, but I don’t feel it at all when driving slower.

The vibration feels like it affects the whole body of the car, doesn’t come through the steering wheel. Wheels have been aligned around 6 months ago but there was no improvement.

Please can anyone suggest what steps I should take next as this is going to be process of elimination.

Thank you.

Could well be unbalanced rear wheels. For some reason wheel balance problems usually show around 60 miles/hr. You could try swapping the wheels front to rear and see if the symptoms change, or just get all four wheels balanced.

Could be a few things - even though you have had alignment, in the last 6 months you could have hit something or become unbalanced

I would get the wheels balanced again as a start

I had an issue before where my rear tyres were twisted causing vibration and excessive noise
