basically,

I was messing with the ABS controller, and I changed the software coding to 0000000

and I didnt save the previous one or write it down..

this has resulted in the ABS light to flash, Handbrake Light to flash, Tire Pressure Sensor to light up and BRAKES flashing in the central DIS.

What do I need to do? Would anyone have the right coding at hand?

VAG NUMBER: 1K0 907 379 D

2005/54 2.0 TDI DSG

any other code I put in, is saying out of range

Here is the coding from my 2005 (05) 2.0TDi, DSG S-Line, it might help you.

Address 03: ABS Brakes Labels: 1K0-907-379-MK60-F.lbl
Part No: 1K0 907 379 K
Component: ESP FRONT MK60 0104
Coding: 0023174
Shop #: WSC 06435 000 00000

Slightly newer version than yours, I also have factory Xenons, though I don't think that your change the ABS coding.

Notes: See production codes on car data plate. Coding is the sum of the individual options.
Sensor Cluster OLD: Installed behind glove compartment (ONLY VW Caddy (2K) & VW Touran (1T) & Audi A3 (8P) <MY2005).
Sensor Cluster NEW: Installed under passenger seat (All Others & Audi A3 (8P) MY2006>).
Special Notes: When replacing 1K0-907-379-D with 1K0-907-379-K or newer, the original Coding CANNOT be transferred to the new Control Module. Instead you need to build a new Coding using the Table above.

Also I always do an autoscan and save the log before I do anything on any car, that way you
a) know that there aren't any fault codes before you start
b) have a baseline of coding for all of the modules to refer back to.

Paul

Thanks mate, I did have that coding sheet..

I got the 0000000 from the list as it said 8p

But I really don't understand it?

the 000000000000 is the base
then you have to add the brakes engine etc
