Help installing tail pipes caps

Ok guys so this is newb question

I am installing the audi chrome pipe caps.

I insert them all the way until the point that got stuck I thought they were installed but there are two clips still visible...

Do I need force them or bend them so the pipes go all the way? How do you did it?

Hahaha Bez. I would say they need lining (turning) up as they don't look rite to me but I think you may have to just ease them in as you knock them on maybe just a flat blade to push the clips down as you go will be awkward but I'm sure you will manage

The clips shouldn't be visible or gripping the original pipes. They are meant to stick between and grip like that.

That's what I was trying to get across lol they will be a pig to get positioned all at the same time when it's pushed on though won't it?

Thanks for the replies guys, in order to put them in place I had to bend a couple of clips with a screwdriver...
Had to use a lot of force to put them in place but now they look awesome...

I had that trouble. But with a bit of force they slide in nicely without any need of bending clips
