Looks like OP is in the same boat as me in terms of proposed budget etc.

I'm up to €8K now and should hot my €14K target by the autumn (PM kis the sale of 2 cars), so a circa €20K budget for me also.

What I'm noticing though is that there are plenty of cars out there (though I'm looking in Europe), so take your time and don't rush - get the spec you desire.. patience is key as it's still a lot of money you're spending.
