SQ5 Hole in rear diffuser

So I don't usually look at the car from underneath or from a distance so I'm not sure if this is 'normal' I suspect the techs forgot to refit some sort of cover during my last service.

Can anyone have a look under their car and tell me if they have a cover in place?

Looks like the bumper has a cut out for a tow bar facility.
Assume you don’t have a tow bar!

Not that I know of! though I'm not sure what I'd expect to see if I had a tow bar? can anyone with a tow bar enlighten me?

Pass, I don't even remember seeing a hole there before. Perhaps it has always been there and I just didn't see it..

@funguf........I’ve got a 2018 Q5 Sline, and the ‘hole’ in the rear diffuser is exactly the same as your SQ5 one, so I don’t think anything is missing.

Towbar, the A4's also have a cutout. There are no serviceable items in that location..

Just seems a bit odd that they would leave such a large gap in the diffuser..
