hello recently acquired a a3 8p with a few faults which I think I’ve fixxed (steering angle senser and clock spring)
The horn wasn’t working before but now I’ve changed the clock spring it works on the button but also when I turn the steering wheel both ways( it was a second hand unit) carnt figure it out, carnt see no squashed wires etc.
I don’t no if I have the clock spring in the right position as the mark on the steering collum and the mark on the steering wheel are way of,and they was even before.

Take the wheel off, mark where the clock spring is currently sitting and then try aligning correctly and check this works.

If you can’t reset, check there is no loose wire on the back of the airbag that’s earthing.

I carnt see any loose wires on any of the connectors,I don’t no what position the clock spring should be in,what I don’t understand is why the clock spring only turns abit each way shouldn’t it go all the way round
