No its my Grandson's take on it :)

Ghost for me as standard.

Tracker same as on my current 8V

I also have a switchable map option that disables the injectors so it won’t start.

Ghost, steering lock bar, ip cctv with person detection & sirens (reolink poe have led lights & sirens built in, have them myself) with ai tools for person & vehicle detection, injector killing as above, depends on your budget & priorities, but another is to remove a relay, that car isn't going anywhere then lol.

24 hour Security detail from the SAS will suffice

Not sure about Ghost at all. I mean at the end of the day there's nothing stopping them coming up and having you at knife point to put the code in.

I think whatever you use, it wouldn’t stop a determined set of scroats.

After reading through this thread, I have to ask where you all live. Is it Brazil? I put mine in the garage with the polo in front and never bat an eyelid. Talking of gap insurance though does anyone have any suggestions. The last company I used has gone bust.

One of these helps that, he hears stuff outside that we don't, I think he takes his 'night shift' seriously

Does anyone have any recommendations on what I could use that isn’t stupidly priced for monitoring my car when parked?
I just want something that monitors my car when it’s in for a service / parked up so I can look back and see if anything untoward has happened. I don’t do many miles so a proper dash cam isn’t something I’m bothered about.

I may need to be corrected here, but garages have the right to disconnect any (dash) camera in use whilst you're car is in for service/work.

Not sure on the legality/ins and outs of that however I put my last S3 into a garage I was highly recommended by the VAG scene as VAG specialists. When I checked back the dash cam he got into it with his stinking oily overalls and took it a test drive after an oil change touching 70mph through residential streets, all the while you could hear him muttering this things a beast etcetc.

Many people have cameras in their work place for their own safety, personally I think we should be allowed to keep the dashcams rolling.

I would be tempted to put a stealthy one in the back somewhere so if they disconnect the dash cam, there is still another recording…
