wanting to know what options i have got for my 1998 Audi A3 3door
at the minuate it is lowered 40mm front and back on just springs

considering coilovers so that i can got for a much bigger drop say 80 -100mm if it is possible

but wanting to know what sort of product i need and price.

but also is there any parts on the car that will not take the strain of going that low that i need to knwo about like bushes and things like that

any information would really help

thanks

you will need different ARB's so they dont hit the driveshafts if you go lower that about 40mm also.
It is said that the handling with be ***** if you go lower than ~40.

I think on a A3 non-sport model you can go to -50 or -60 without too many problems.

Beyond that you risk smacking your sump, and killing the meagre handling the car had standard.

yeah but it would look cool.. which is surely the most important thing! haha ;P

wanted to go for ajustables so that i could run it as low as 60-80 but most of the time and day to day it would just have the 40 mm drop

and what are ARB's sorry for being stupid but just really dont know

Anti roll bar.... most talked about cause of knocking noises... handling... and general chit chat in this forum lol... there shud be just a sticky thread for all ARB discussions...
