As a newbie to this section, I'm keen to know how many fellow brothers I have - anyone know how many owners we have on this site or feel free to start a list from this thread?

I was thinking 7 but seems to grow daily.

Will do! Yep, very pleased, moved from a B7 RS4 to the RS3 - Very different animals. Just trying to get to grips with the S-Tronic gearbox now - I just can't stop fiddling around with the bloomin' thing! :whistle2:

The acceleration is almost elastic by comparison - if that makes any sense - which it probably doesn't! Have to say the ride's a darn side better than I was fearing as well.

Very good so far - not a squeak or rattle to be found on the RS3.

I think some of the lower plastics in the RS4 were a little better but I paid for the extended leather in the RS3 which I'm really happy about - looks and feels great! :icon_thumright:

I have had an issue with the bucket seats squeaking when cornering. The cause was the height adjuster mechanism rubbing on the underside of the seat. Still have got the issue which is annoying. Anyone else experienced this?

Yes I had it for first three weeks. Drove me crazy, real loud metal creaking, as brand new spoilt the car!!

Yup mine had/has this, adjusted the mechanism and it's disappeared...but off out later so will see if it re-appears...

Yes if you adjust the seat up it goes quieter but sat on lowest position and the noise is bad.
 
It's annoying...the car has been back 4 times and still got the issue...waiting to hear back from Audi with a solution to the problem. I thought mine was a one off with the issue but seems like everyone with bucket seats are experiencing the same issue.

As for the seat, I had the same issue with the drivers bucket and my local dealer agreed to change the entire lower seat frame. Since then no issues at all but was ****** annoying for a while.

Ha there are several people with/had the same issue yet if you complain the Audi UK they have never received any other complaints and are unaware of the problem. Yeah right
