Really gutted to have to do this, but I am having to sell my S3, due to a new job and a ****** company car is the only real option!

I have no Idea what to put it up at and was hoping some one could help.

spec is:-

December 2007 car
6500 miles
Red
Leather Recaro sport seats
DVD SAT-NAV
6 Disc changer
Multi Function Flat bottom wheel
Centre arm rest with GSM phone prep
Rear Parking Sensors
Privicy pack
Adaptive Lights
Black optic Pack
Rear centre arm rest with through load (not sure if this is a extra or not?)
Piano black inlays
Bose Sound
Audi Factory boot mat.

And of course the rest of full s3 spec.

Car is totaly mint in every way. All wheels are perfect, as is the paint work and inside. Standard Car and garaged every night.

Thanks you for help

Nathan

Updated to include the Parking sensors, I had missed them off the spec list

p.s if any one is interested let me know. Thanks

Dude, im sorry to hear that.

Think of the positives though. No more worrying about where you park, no more trying to clamber into those seats, no more spit and polish every weekend. :)

P.s. Thats one hell of a spec so im sure the offers will come flying in. Im no expert in car pricing but if you are going down the private route i'd pitch for 26-7k?

Pistonheads do a free classifieds, but so does AS.net.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the help guys, It will be going up on pistonheads later for round that mark.

I am gutted about lossing the car, it has been such a nice car to own.

hell Id be gutted too if I had to sell mine now for a company car... Im gutted for you as it is!

what you getting??

Either a half decent spec new mondao or a very good spec New focus. Not really sure what to get. Don't have family or any thing, just a GF so size isn't a issue!

Still got my 340R tho:eyebrows:

Ive had a mondeo and really enjoyed it. The badge snobs will slate it though.

If you get to choose an engine then the 2.2TDCi will not dissapoint.

If mile munching in comfort is the order of the day theres no comparison. Mondy mondy mondy!!

Otherwise teh focus may be easier to live with in terms of parking etc..

With that spec and if it's as mint as you say it is i'd put it up at £27.995.

Best of luck.

How much does the car stand you at? about 34k?

In fact if your in no rush for a sale i'd put it up at £28.995 and hang out for £28k , the sat nav and seats are worth over £3.5k alone!

I bought the car as a demo from Harrogate with 1000 miles on for just over 30k.

That car is totally perfect and as new, I was thinking 28 would be a fair price.

Mondy is winning in my head mate

Thanks

When i say the badge snobs will slate it. Im referring to outsiders perceptions. I say this because everybody who travelled in it made a point of saying how amazed they were at the build quality and look of it. I had the titanium X model which come with the ST kit in black. Fully loaded with "Free" (oooh theres a novel idea) extras such as alcantara etc. Here is a pic:

Oh i loved that car. The only one that made sitting in a traffic jam less of a chore :D

Ahh you are the second owner tho IMHO that does put a differenet spin on things!

I would now say 27k max , as the buyer will be the 3rd owner , i don't think i would want to spend that sort of money and be the 3rd owner in 4month!

It only my opinion though mate, good luck with the sale!

If it helps I paid 25K for mine from Fontain Audi in Slough 4 weeks ago. They are an independant AUDI specialist based in Slough who deal in in the desirable AUDI range of all ages, S3s,RS4, RS6s, TTs etc etc...There stock is excellent and cheaper than AUDI franchise cars.

They buy cars like yours for cash so might be worth a call if you get sick of the tyrekickers, email scammers etc, dreamers...

My Spec as follows:
Oct 07 57plate
Sprint Blue
4500 miles
Multi Function Flat bottom wheel
Centre arm rest with GSM phone prep
Bluetooth
Privacy pack
Adaptive Lights
Rear centre arm rest with through load
Brushed Al inlays
Bose Sound
Light pack
Auto Wipers
Sunroof
Folding Mirrors

No Nav or RECAROs but pretty much everything else.

It sounds like a very nice car and would have thought 27K was easy acheivable to the right punter looking for a big spec, in particular the seats and NAV.

TBH I wasnt prepared to spend any extra on the RECARO seats due the front & rear access restrictions (I use the back seats quite often) but would have paid upt a £500 premium for the DVD Nav as it can be retro fitted for £750.

It probably a 35K car (list price) so its maybe worth starting it at around 28K as potential buyer might see them being the 3rd owner a bit of a downside.

I spent a long time looking before I bought mine, and cars like yours are very desirable commanding premiums for the Seats and NAV. My local AUDI garge wanted 29K for a similar car to yours but with only 300miles on the clock.

Anyway Good luck!

Paul

Will you swap your DVD nav for my CD NAV?

I'll give you cookies!!

Thanks for this, gives me a good idea of price in relation to other cars. Although I have put it up for £28500 I am open to offers.

I forgot my car also has Auto lights and wipers

forget CD nav... he's offering cookies!! ;)

Id go for the mondy too over the focus... was just talking to the missis about her getting one...but she turned her nose up... she wants a fricking Dodge Caliber!!!! :asskicking:

You probably gonna hate me for hijacking your thread Nath-340R but i've put my baby up for sale too:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/470082.htm

Obviously not quite the same spec as yours, but not farr off. Think the price is about right, need to get rid of it pretty quickly :crying::crying:
