I want to customise the badge on our steering wheel but need to remove it to do so, don't want to damage doing it!

Has anyone removed it before or can offer advice please? It's the s-line one

Steering wheel needs to come off and then all of that area is held together by clips internally

Surely you could just whip the air bag out and that will give you access to the clips, whilst leaving the wheel bolted on

As above I would have thought air bag removal would mean you could get access behind/ above it.

Airbag off, then you need to remove the trim ring under the airbag (complete with multi function controls)

The trim ring is pulled off, BUT, be careful when removing the MFC buttons, as there is a short ribbon cable attached to the back of them.

The badge can be changed with other model designations.
