How to repair headlight?

Get some clear silicone and do it nice and tidy.

Either that or eBay, breakers formed one hand unit as new will break the bank..

A new S-Line style unit is £600 from Audi, so I would try and repair it.

Seal it. Remove rear cover and dry with hair dryer. if its stained remove light, clean out and seal again...

No. Remove the four screws holding the plastic cover over the radiator and lift off so the radiator is visible. Remove the screws holding the headlight onto the front plate (or what vet it's called), then slacken the two screws holding the unit at the back of the headlight.

Slide the headlight out from the grill end.

Great thanks, and to take the back of the headlight unit is that a stick it in the oven job? Don't really trust myself with that..

If your only other option is to get a brand new headlight you might as well chuck it in the oven and see what happens, nothing to lose.

Try blowing the air through the chipped part of the light with a hair dryer, then when dry seal with clear silicone as suggested, saves you cooking in an oven. :thumbs up:

Depends if the chip is visible and spoils the look of the car? try buying one on ebay?
