...having never owned a Bimmer, I wouldn't know about materials used. I have driven a few though and wasn't quite taken in by the cabin quality enough to want one! the 3 series' image was a problem for me too.

I'm just curious but is it possible to have a update on the new discs?

Are they still as good as new?

all i can say is there still as good as the repair which to me still looks the same in finish quality wise not seeing any deteriation as yet,but to answer your question as good as new... when new they wasnt covered in hammerite so probly not as good as new but still an impressive fix from audi and im very happy
