Hi guys,
I have an a4 b8 sline, which has just recently had it's headlight go out.
I've ordered a replacement however in the mean time the right indicator has stopped working?
When I go to use right, left comes on. Both touch indicator and full.
Left works fine...
Could the two be related or am I experiencing another problem here?
Bulb won't arrive until Monday!
Thanks guys

Sounds like an earth path problem. This will affect the headlight too.

Run a separate earth wire from the headlight bulb body to a good earth, see if everything is cured.

Thanks Zafi,
So the headlight out shouldn't make a difference then?

Read up about a hazards relay? Any idea guys.. Went back to arnold shark today, no don't it won't be covered!

Its got xenons I guess?

Anyhow, try running a temporary earth from the right indicator bulb.

Yes mate - Xenons. I've got a bulb arriving over the weekend, hopefully it's just because there is one missing! It's on the garage atm so will see what they come back with. A bit of research tells me the hazard relay is pretty temperamental on these
